Montegrappa expands its Icons series with a limited edition dedicated to Harry Houdini, the legendary illusionist and master escape artist. Limited to just 150 pieces, the rollerball pen showcases a theatrical design inspired by the art of illusion, crafted from premium materials including sterling silver, vermeil, resin, and lambskin.

All metal components are made of sterling silver, with vermeil accents that reference chains and locking mechanisms. The clip and cap disc evoke padlocks and keys, while the textured black resin barrel features an M-wave pattern inspired by early 20th-century ebonite silhouettes.

Artisanal elements at both ends of the pen pay tribute to two of Houdini’s most iconic acts: the cap is finished with hand-painted lambskin, referencing the suspended straitjacket escape, while the threaded base allows the pen to be mounted into a desktop replica of the famed “Water Torture Cell.”

Designed for a smooth and precise writing experience, the rollerball pen offers exceptional balance and grip, thanks to meticulous craftsmanship and the use of high-quality materials.

The presentation includes a custom wooden case engraved with vintage poster artwork, containing the pen, the display chamber, and the mounting stand.
