After the success of the 2024 Year of the Dragon edition, Chinese astrology continues to inspire Montegrappa: the new limited edition is Year of the Snake.

Year of the Snake reprises the artisanal formula of last year's Imperial Dragon edition: bringing high ornamental intensity to an all-silver Extra through intricate engravings, precious stones, and Juma® resin.

Although rich in detail, Year of the Snake has been crafted with a much lighter touch compared to its predecessor.

With its modern, illustrative style and more delicate shading variations, the design appears less intimidating, reflecting the snake's seductive and enigmatic nature.

Its symbolism as a catalyst for change and rebirth is emphasized by prominent emeralds and lush green resin.

Once again, Montegrappa’s most striking design feature is the "Infinity" decoration wrapping the cap, barrel, and blind cap. Crafted from sterling silver, this time our multi-axial fiber-optic laser engraving focuses on density variations rather than depth, depicting two snakes entwined among wild geraniums against a background of auspicious clouds.

Emerald-set eyes highlight their presence and complement a single 2mm emerald set into the signature clip.

The "Mamba Green" scale-patterned Juma® resin is an intuitive choice for the grip section.

In homage to the lucky numbers 2, 8, and 9, Year of the Snake is available in editions of 289 rollerball pens and piston-filling fountain pens, featuring a customized 8mm-diameter "crazy eye" 18K gold nib (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1) and an ebonite feeder.
