Description
The Omas Guglielmo Marconi is a limited-edition fountain pen, produced in 1995 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the invention of radio. Made from deep blue resin, it features a series of metallic rings across the barrel and cap, visually evoking radio waves. The gold-plated clip, inspired by the shape of a telegraph key, pays tribute to Morse code and the origins of wireless communication. The wide gold band at the base of the cap is engraved with “Marconi '95 QSL,” a direct reference to amateur radio language.
The pen is equipped with a piston filling system and features an 18K bi-color gold nib, typically available in medium or broad sizes. Elegant and functional, this pen blends Omas’s iconic design with strong historical and symbolic value, making it ideal both for daily writing and collectors.
