Description
The Foreign Minister of the Weimar Republic, Gustav Stresemann, became famous not only for his political career but also for his distinctive style, characterized by finely striped suits. This elegant detail did not go unnoticed, and soon, Pelikan’s striped fountain pens, which were beginning to gain international success at the time, were affectionately nicknamed "Stresemann." Even today, both the suits and the pens carry his name, symbolizing timeless sophistication.
To honor this legacy, Pelikan has named the latest addition to its Souverän collection "Stresemann," distinguishing it with its anthracite-striped barrel. Crafted from cellulose acetate, the barrel is complemented by finely turned black components made of high-quality resin.
The pen’s elegance is further enhanced by its palladium-finished clip and rings, while the 18-karat gold nib, fully rhodium-plated, provides a refined silver sheen. Each writing instrument is hand-assembled and undergoes rigorous quality control, ensuring a piece that embodies tradition, craftsmanship, and prestige.
