In the wake of the regular edition 24H Le Mans Legende, Montegrappa's celebration of 100 years of Le Mans culminates in a bold new limited edition.

The 2023 24 Hours of Mans is ready to whiz across the starting grid.

Limited to 100 fountain pens and 100 rollerballs, the extreme design of the new 24 Heures du Mans 2023 combines expert style with the hallmarks of sports memorabilia to pay homage to a century of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Using aluminum and carbon fiber to simulate the cockpit interior of a modern hypercar, the edition's affinity for high-performance motorsports is evident in every detail.

The optics, materials and authentic mechanical look make this production a remarkable trophy for pen and automotive aficionados, weighing in at just 60g (FP) and 53g (RB).

Detailing on the aluminum components is accomplished by anodizing, etching, lacquering, UV printing and enamelling, most prominently on a panel of passive acrylic control buttons located on top of the barrel. Multi-axial machining is used to create this complex segment, crafted with a sporty U-shaped grip profile.

Additional graphical detail references race milestones, including a parade of historic car models and all-time performance stats on a hood-mounted dashboard. Custom componentry includes serrated alloy trim rings, a piston control button, and a clip modeled after the iconic Mulsanne straight.

The official crest of the centenary of the race is reproduced on the top and body of the cap.

On the fountain pens, the institutional logo of the race is engraved on a customized 8 mm ruthenium-plated 18-karat gold nib (EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1).

Its 32-tooth ratchet piston filling mechanism can be operated via the switch and dial lugs attached to the case back.

The customized packaging for the 2023 24 Hours of Mans is suitably ceremonial, featuring a lacquered wood/acrylic miniature of the race winner's official trophy.

A laminated outer box features the centenary branding of the race and the layouts of the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe over the years.
